This program covered key provisions in the CARES Act applying to employee benefit plans, and discussed other COVID-19 impacts. Specifically, we discussed benefits issues relating to retirement plans, health and welfare plans, leave sharing programs, PTO cashouts, disaster relief payments, employer payments towards certain employee student loans, tax credits for retaining employees, and delaying payment of payroll taxes.
